Wow. Makes me think of a Titanic filled with people who sound like shrek. In a good way. This song is awesome

8/8 This is not my swamp

Bosa responds:

Yes, I suppose it can haha. Thank you very much for the review, sir!

NIce vocals, good progression, maybe a tab bit more volume for the vocals? anyway nice.

fabbef responds:

Thanks bro! :D When the song was finished I realised that I totally forgot about the mixing... I'll fix that in future remixes :)

Awesome song, although I cant help but get a vibe that this would be awesome as a rock and roll version, with slide bass in the intro hah!

Nice song, although some more powerful transitions would be a nice addition.

moobella responds:

Haha i think so too :D I dunno how to make rock and roll though. I'll work on the transitions then :)

and thanks for the comment!!!

Not bad, a bit repetitive but a nice feel!

Spurta responds:

Two pieces of feedback on one song? This is AWESOME!

Thanks for the feedback, man!
Yeah, I'm trying to work on learning how to use FL in the meantime, which I hope I'll be able to be less repetitive with when I get to using it.

Keep rockin'!

I am a sucker for nice cinematic/Orchestral songs and this is no exception! I really like the feel!
Reminds me of sitting outside and watching stars, or dare I say a bit of Mass Effect?
The worst part about the song is that it feels like it ends before it has even truly begun!

LawnReality responds:

I'm glad you like it! :)

I can hear the potential there but only a few problems I can hear:

Good arrangement! song sounds good but only one big problem!

Poor mixing and mastering!
The synth chords (or whatever you intended them to be) Drowns out almost all of the rest of the song!
Fruity stock limiter and maximus is not a good way to master and will lower the quality and professionalism of any song!

One of the biggest ways to make songs sound "Professional" or just high quality in general is strong mastering, it takes practice but it keeps instruments from overpowering each other, makes the low notes lower and the high notes crisper

Other than this problem I thought the song was good! you have serious talent keep working at it!
:D

polrock responds:

Hello DJMadalrian, Thanks fot the review, :D
I get that of the synth, and i will short the duration of it, but, about th mastering and mixing...
I don't really know how to master good... I have a preset for izotope ozone, for the house progressive song, appart of that, i dont have more, I will try to search, and learn about the mastering. And about the mixing, I'm progressing more, and more, learning more technics, and growing in that aspect.
Thanks for the detailed comment, and fot the recomendation
Hope you listen the full song soon!

I don't write too many reviews but here goes;
I will give you 1 star for the probable effort that you put in putting this together 5 years ago, however, I fail to see how mashing the Sytrus Hydronium preset together with no doubt subtle synth tweaks counts as a song. Not trying to be mean but I cant in good faith give this a higher score since the only thing you did was arrange a few notes.
At least the mastering is not so bad I suppose.

spyderbrd responds:

well then atleast give me points for that, i spent days in audacity improving the quality. thanks bunches Newgrounder!

Good, Ken is SUCH a MAN

w00tw00 responds:

ken is, no hankypanky! glad you rated it high.

You have Immense talent! All orchestrated by ear? Wonderful, but quick question what DAW do you use? and whats your recommended VST for creating orchestral pieces? I have always made electronic music because I lacked the skill to make other types, although I can rock a Piano pretty hard they tend to be expensive. Anyway great song

Bosa responds:

Thank you!

As far as VSTi goes, if you're ready to move on from soundfonts then you can start with something simple -- EWQL Symphonic Orchestra. I highly recommend it as you pretty much have everything you need if you're starting out.

I use a combination of VSTi and recording my own instruments sometimes, and I have learned to use every resource that is available to create the best sound. This song is rather aged compared to what I will be producing soon, so I am always trying to progress if I can.

I am just a guy who likes music.
